Mini-Show     March    - Narcissus

Two Narcissus blooms, one or more cultivars.. Plus Challenge Cultivar  Points to be carried forward for Annual Show.

Mini Show September - Fuchsia

Cut blooms with plenty of stem, even if you have to sacrifice a bud or bloom.

Name blooms whenever possible. Neat naming will count in your favour in a close competition.

Don’t crowd your blooms, they don’t like it and neither do the judges.

Dahlia exhibitors are advised to measure bloom before submitting entries as they may have grown after cutting

(measuring rings are available) at the show.

Make sure your pots are clean..

All pots are to be round excluding classes 12a,16,16a,17,21 and 22 where other shapes are permitted.

Class

1. Marigolds, one vase, three stems, any one cultivar.

2. Cut flowers from your garden, one vase, mixed.

3. Carnations, one vase, three stems.

4. Gladiolus, one spike.

5. Asters, one vase, five stems, one or more cultivars.

5a. Any other flower, one vase, 5 stems. One cultivar

6. A miniature arrangement of flowers, not to exceed 4” (101mm) in any direction.

7. Roses, cluster flowered, one stem.

8. Roses,  one bloom.

9. Fuchsia, one pot, not exceeding 6” (152mm) diameter.

9a Standard Fuchsia,  one pot, at least 18” (457mm) tall.

10. Pelargonium (geranium), zonal, single or double flower. One pot, not   exceeding 6” (152mm) diameter.

10a Pelargonium,  (geranium), zonal, single or double flower.  One pot, over 6” (152mm) diameter.

11. Pelargonium (geranium), coloured foliage. One pot not exceeding 6” (152mm) diameter. (remove any flowers).

12. Flowering pot plant, one pot not exceeding 6” (152mm) diameter,   excluding any in class 9. One cultivar.

13. Flowering pot plants pot size over 6” (152mm) diameter, but not  exceeding 18” (457mm) diameter. One cultivar.

      14. Foliage pot plants, pot not to exceed 6” (152mm) diameter. One cultivar.
