Introduction

Welcome to the society’s web site, designed to assist the people of Billericay and surrounding areas in improving and update their skills in horticulture.

This Society was established in 1898 and has a current membership of just over one hundred.  We meet on the third Monday of every Month at the New Town Council hall Chantry Way, Billericay at  8:00 pm.

Each meeting a speaker is invited to give a illustrative talk on Horticultural on a wide range of horticultural subjects, some speakers give practical demonstrations .

It is also an excellent place to find out about your own problems as the members themselves have expert knowledge on many aspects of gardening.

The Society is run entirely by volunteers. The annual membership fee is only £5.00 and £8.00 for a couple

You do not have to live in Billericay - we have members as far away as
